WHERE: PezDispenser
Captain Rrak had already probed the general with a few comments to test his reactions.
1. Insult his name. Check.
2. Charge him fare for passage. Check.
3. Offer him silly boots. Check
It seemed the general was amiable enough and let the comments pass. He even appeared pleased with the pink boots (which was fortunate since they really were the only extra pair he had on board). He would get the general a better set of boots as soon as they landed somewhere - it was only fitting for a person of his standing. Captain Rrak was pleased that he wasn't hotheaded and thought that perhaps they would get along well.
It was interesting that Prince Gorak offered his left hand for the shake - was that a Romulon custom, was he still disoriented from the carbonite or was he just left handed?
It didn't matter. Captain Rrak figured he had the upper hand. This was his ship, his crew was here to support him and he was a skilled dancer who could take care of himself.
Captain Rrak: "Welcome aboard my ship, the PezDispenser, Prince Gorak Az'lbulon. I am Captain Rrak. I'm an independent trader and I'm glad to have you on board. I guess the stories of your demise were untrue and premature. I look forward to learning more from you."
He smiled, performed an exquisite pirouette and offered his left hand to Prince Gorak. He had a good feeling about this.
