Captain Rrak decided that he'd waited long enough. He needed to assess the damage to his ship while the others tended to their duties. He would start with the entertainment center...

Captain Rrak over the intercom: "Xandor, meet me up in Sector 10." He knew that he should have had "mad" Rodolfo and Paddle Bottom with him but he couldn't stand to see the look on litte Paddle Bottom's face if he saw the mess in there. He always looked so forward to movie night.

Captain Rrak: "Rodolfo. Paddle Bottom. Head to Sector 3 and see what we're dealing with in the cargo bay. If the damage there is too severe, we're not going to be able to run that job in Gu'Rooni."

Captain Rrak arrived at the entertainment center at the same time as Xandor. He noticed the temporary seals in place preserving the atmoshpere so they wouldn't need life support suits. He let out a hiss as he saw the damage. Darn those GREASERS! It looks like they went straight for the plasma screen first. Only one speaker was left untouched. Then he noticed his minidiscs collection!

Captain Rrak: "NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!! Not my Overlords of the Dance limited edition collection of minidiscs. It took me years to assemble all of that. Some of those are irreplaceable! The Great Overlord himself gave me two of those discs..." Xandor reaches over and pats his captain on the back knowing what a crushing blow this was to him. At that moment, however, he was inspired. He knew what he would be getting for his captain on his next birthday!

Captain Rrak regained his composure and appreciated Xandor's silence. He needed to move on now. If he didn't get this ship running, that minidisc collection would be the least of his worries.

Captain Rrak over the intercom: "Xoltar! How is that drive coming along? I don't hear anything."

Xoltar: "Well cap, you see, when I initiated the shutdown sequence, I thought it would be a good idea to speed the process up so I bypassed the micro-cooldown stage. However, I neglected to uncouple the magnetic core inhibitors and..."

Captain Rrak: "Yeah, whatever. Bottom line - are you saying that you broke the drive and can't get it going again!?"

Xoltar: "Well, technically, you're the one who said it, but I would have to agree with you."

Captain Rrak: "Look Xoltar, you break my ship, I break you. Figure it out or..."

Suddenly the ship lurches!

Captain Rrak: "Good job Xoltar. I knew you just needed a little encouragement to get things running again."

Xoltar: "Uh Cap? That wasn't me."

Xara over the intercom: "Captain! Bad news! We just got hit with a tractor beam! We're headed toward that Romulon ship!"
