WHO: Prince Gorak
WHERE: Carbonite Chamber
As the carbonite encased Zorak remains undetected in the confines of his milky prison. His semi-conscious brain continues to replay his final waking hours...

The scene is a few weeks ago at the final moments on board the Grey Killer.
Engineer: "My liwge, that torpedo must have been overloaded sir. GreySTAR really wanted to knock out The Bird badly. We have lost power to forward shields and have taken extensive internal hits. Casualties will probably be severe on all foward decks sir..."
Gorak: "Yes yes, but how are my quarters holding up?"
Engineer: "Music is still being piped into it sire, so I can only assume all systems are intact there."
Science officer: "Captain, I wholeheartedly recommend a temporary truce with the Federation ships."
Gorak: "Never."
Science officer: "We have no shields..."
Gorak: "A minor nuisance. I will never negotiate with the likes of that scum out there."
Science officer: "We have no maneuvering power..."
Gorak: "Let them come to me then. Not for once second will I give up the fight with my hated enemies."
Science officer: "The cloak has been homogenized."
Gorak: "Reroute cloak systems to mess hall. A truce, no matter how small, is a sign of defeat. Never I say."
Science officer: "The Oreo 2 is new registering an energy buildup of the 9th power, sir. Enough to reduce us, and them, to angry and sorry little particles."
Gorak: "Glorious. Never compromise. Never!"
Science officer: "The manipulator arm is gone."
Gorak: "Damn. Most regrettable. But are we not Romulons?? I shall taunt him with my last breath and my very own arms if need be."
Yeoman (over intercom): "Azzy baby, er, my Prince. Trembling flower is now ready for her Fiery Phoenix, my lord.
Gorak: "Communications, open a channel to GreyStar." (channel is hastily opened) "Uh, look, can we talk? I have a bit of a situation here. Your invitation to a warm and welcoming boarding party sounds plausible at the moment. But, uh, the bridge is a mess, the hull is fractured, and I really must insist on a truce of ...." (thinking of the last time Fiery Phoenix was employed) "10 minutes, tops. After that, if I have enough ship left over you can come aboard. Think about it for two minutes and uh, relay your response to my first officer. Gorak out." (Get ups and heads out the door) "You have the comm, first mate. Clean up this mess and get this ship fixed. You have 10 minutes. And so do I.

Tune in next time to see how our stalwart Romulon misses his visit with the Trembling Flower and istead alights upon a carbonite prison.
