With no suitable planetary body nearby, without being able to call for aid in enemy territory, and with no idea when a rescue might arrive, Gorak is officially stressed now.

Well, a royal Romulon captain is nothing if not resourceful. He pilots the pod towards the large cloud of frothed up chocolate milk and enters it before it has time to congeal and freeze again. After that he med checks himself and then keys the carbonite feezing process for an indefinate period of time.

His figures he would rather take his chances with a greedy comercial salvage crew, which is sure to arrive some day, than with a signal for help which will no doubt bring a Federation ship to the area.

As he drifts off into a carbonite encased slumber his final thoughts are not on the irony of being saved by a mutinous crew, or how the remains of a hated enemy are now hiding him and assuring his rescue, but instead on whether his favorite contestants made it into the finals on Gorn Idol.
