Gorak: (On an open channel to Pondscum Nebula) "Admiral Greystar. This is Lord Gorak. We meet again. It may interest you to know that I have personally assumed command of the Suid Sidal. It also may interest you to know that we have civilians on board. In fact, I am surprised that you would even be firing upon us knowing full well that we towed in a stinkbug class freighter with its crew alive and well. Where are your much touted Federation morals and sensibilities NOW, admiral?"
Right about this moment Gorak wishes Rrak was concealing a band of gyspies or something on board that would have registered on the feds scanners.
Gorak: (Still on open channel) "What I propose admiral, is another temporary truce. The last time I asked for this, your companion ship went Death Blossom on us all. I trust that if you accept this truce, that will not happen again. But you must accept the truce on an open news channell before I will lower my shields. You can then beam aboard my hangar bay and inspect the stinkbug ship and her crew yourself. I promise you I will not harm you admiral. In fact, I promise I will not even be there, nor will there be an armed reception of security guards. You can inspect the stinkbug and crew at your leisure. After that, if you still wish it, we can meet in person and talk things out. Here are the coordinates you will arrive at the hangar bay, since you can’t lock on with my cloak up. It will be a spot right outside the stinkbig ship. Oh, and admiral, you can bring two other people with you, if you like. But no one is to have more than stardard sidearms! I don’t want a tactical strike team beaming aboard my ship. I suggest however that you wear gas masks for the stinkbug’s exhausts. Do we have a deal?"
The bridge crew of the Suid Sidal look at their new captain wondering if he is no better than Pupuhed after all. Although he really doesn’t owe them any explanations, he closes the channel to the Ponscum Nebula and gave them all one anyway.
Gorak: (to bridge crew) "I am giving that admiral more of a chance than he deserves. He will be trained, accompanied, and armed. Should be more than a match for some zombies, IF his courage doesn’t fail him. Ha! Look at it this way: If he accepts and survives then he might finally earn my respect and the right to negotiate a truce with me. Also, they might just help out the PezDispenser crew in process."
