While he waits for Greystar’s response, Gorak now turns his attention to the GREASERS.

Upon asking, the science officer tells them that they are fresh out of degreaser agent. The feds seem to have corned the market on it and bought out most suppliers.

Gorak thinks that is unfortunate and that they will need something else to get rid of the swarm. He knows that the swarm is currently in Dismantle Ship Mode and will be looking for strong sources of mass now, more than strong sources of energy. Maybe he could use that knowledge to his advantage.

If only there was a large mass in 7x9, a planetary body or something, he could take them there and they would leave his ship. But there were no planets in the area and he wouldn’t make it anywhere else with the cloak up.

Mass, mass, where could he find a large source of mass. Artificial mass, maybe? Although he already knew the answer to this, he asked anyway…

Gorak: "Science Officer, do we have something on board that will generate artificial mass?"

Sci Off: (sadly) "No, general."

Gorak’s options were shrinking. Then…

Sci Off: "Oh! I know where we could get a Gravity Well Generator!"

Gorak: (amazed) "That would be perfect. Where??"

Sci Off: "The Romero."
