WHO: Prince Gorak
WHERE: Suid Sidal

As Gorak followed the PR person he was feeling a little depressed. If only he could have stayed on board the pod a little longer. A properly placed BANG was powerful enough to take out the entire Pondscum Nebula and the battle would have been over there and then.

His thoughts we distracted by the mixed reactions he was getting from crewmembers in the corridors. Some were amazed and awed to see the person they have been hearing so much about in the news feeds, others were taken aback by his ragged appearance. The prince hoped that he looked more like a man of action, dressed as he was, rather than a slovenly commoner. Although his medals and badges were still prominent, he inwardly wished he were invisible again.

As the thought crossed his mind, he remembered the hidden power gauge built into the hem of the cloaking cloak's collar. He thought to himself that the designers of the garment needed to find a way to allow the user of the cloak to see th gauge while invisible. As it was, the guage was useless when the cloak was activated.

Gorak paused for a second when he saw that the cloak only had 14 seconds of power left! If he had stayed on that pod just a short while longer he would have been visible. Looks like everything had worked out perfectly after all. The Romulon Gods WERE on his side! That, or he was spared once again by fortunate coincidence. Either way, the prince was happy again. His pace quicken and he almost danced the rest of the way to the suite. The PR crewmember showed no sign of noticing.

Moments later, while alone and happily prancing around the ambassador's suite, he was suddently shot by a phazed shift rifle. It was bad enough that he was injured, but his prized cloak was also damaged. He lost his good mood.
